We are not just another Ko Lanta diving center. Hidden Depths Diving was born from the idea that another dive center model is possible; An eco-sustainable model, a small and familiar diving school, where you can make yourself feel at home.
We believe in personalized attention. Our dive groups are very small, with a maximum of 4 divers per instructor and no more than 12 divers per day. All of this to ensure that you receive the care and attention you deserve. Diving is our passion. We are not a “divers factory”, we like to take care of the details and make you feel part of our great family of dive friends. All this, without neglecting our professionalism and our demanding safety standards in diving.
We are PADI members, the most prestigious diving organization around the world, both for its teaching system and its high standards of safety and quality. Hidden Depths Diving is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, a category that guarantees the highest quality of our diving services.
Our dive center is located in Koh Lanta, Thailand. Specifically, we are located north of Koh Lanta Yai island, on the same street as the port of Saladan, which is where all the ships from Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lipe, Phuket, Krabi, Ao Nang, and other tourist destinations in the Andaman Sea arrives. Once you are at the port, or on the port´s street (Moo Saladan), if you walk one or two minutes, you will find us. The exact address is: 123 Moo 1, Ban Saladan Koh Lanta, Krabi, Thailand 81150.
Come to meet us, we will be happy to greet you and advise you to enjoy some incredible days of diving in Koh Lanta. There is no better place in Thailand for scuba diving. You will be impressed with the beauty of the islands of Koh Haa, the whale sharks, the spectacular oceanic manta rays and the soft corals of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, and the mysterious remains of the Kled Kaeow wreck. You will love it!
We have a small shop with diving supplies, and, as other koh lanta dive shops, we are suppliers of brands such as Scubapro, Suunto, Cressi, and Aqua Lung. In the store, there is a little of everything you need for scuba diving, freediving, or snorkeling, but if you need a specific item, let us know in advance of your arrival in Koh Lanta, so we can have the product ready in the store for when you get to the dive center.
We also have a wonderful wooden deck over the water of the Koh Lanta channel. Come to visit us and enjoy our impressive views over the sea while we get to know each other and talk about what we like the most; Dive, dive, dive!
Our Speedboat
We have one of the fastest boats on Koh Lanta, capable of taking you to most dive sites in just 35 minutes, when most Koh Lanta dive boats take around 2 hours to complete the same route.
The HDD1 is a speedboat redesigned by us, exclusively to be as accessible and comfortable as possible for divers. We have the only Speedboat on the island that does not have a central rack to transport the scuba tanks. We have removed this central structure and incorporated all the air tanks into the boat sides, which leaves much more space for divers and eliminates the danger of accidentally hitting us with the tanks.
Our speedboat is 11 meters long by 3 meters wide and has a capacity for 24 people. It has a large deck in the shade and a smaller one in the sun at the front. Low platform with easy access, safety handrails throughout the deck, life jackets for all members of the boat, a first-aid kit checked daily, emergency oxygen equipment, as well as cold drinks, Thai snacks, and fresh fruit onboard.
