Our Koh Lanta diving school is a PADI 5 Star Diving Resort, a category that recognizes a teaching of the highest level, as well as facilities that follow the quality of our diving courses. We are PADI members, the most recognized diving organization around the world, both for the quality of its teaching methods and its very high safety standards.
We teach diving courses at all levels. From initiation diving experiences, such as Discover Scuba Diving, certified recreational diving courses, such as PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or PADI Rescue Diver, to courses for Those who want to become professionals and make from their passion, their profession, such as the PADI Divemaster Course, PADI Instructor IDC, or the specialties for instructors.
We are passionate about teaching, and we have been certifying divers from all around the world for more than 10 years. We have a very personal philosophy about teaching diving courses; We pamper the detail, we take as much time as necessary to make you become an autonomous and safe diver underwater. Our diving groups are usually of a maximum of 4 students per class to ensure personalized attention and full learning and mastery of the diving techniques required in each Koh Lanta PADI course.

Included in the diving day trip price:
The price of recreational diving courses includes all the PADI materials and all de dives necessary to accomplice the courses and get the PADI certification, transportation services from your accommodation to and from the dives, breakfast, lunch, and all food and drinks served on the boat, rental of the complete diving equipment, and the services of a professional PADI Instructor.
Not Included in the diving day trip price:
There is a fee of 600 Baht per person that the Thai government charges for diving within the National Parks. This supplement has to be paid to dive at any of the dive sites on Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi and is not reflected in the prices of the dive day or the courses, as it is a rate totally unrelated to the dive center. Hidden Depths Diving is a mere intermediary that is facilitating and organizing the collection of money and delivering it daily to the authorities of the corresponding marine park.
Learn to dive in or Koh Lanta Diving School
Koh Lanta is the best place in Thailand to learn to dive or take a scuba diving course. Its location, the quality of its waters, the quick access to the best diving spots in the Koh Haa and Koh Phi Phi Marine Parks, the state of conservation, and the variety of marine fauna that its underwater ecosystems present make Koh Lanta a world-renowned diving paradise.
Medical Requirements for Scuba Diving
It is mandatory to pass a simple medical questionnaire before taking any PADI diving course. It is a simple questionnaire on different pathologies in which it is supposed that you answer “no” to all the questions to be eligible and start the diving course.
In case you answer “yes” to any of the questions, it does not mean at all that you are not suitable to dive, it simply means that you need to consult a qualified doctor and that he/she certifies in writing that you are suitable for diving.
You can bring this certificate with you, or we can do it in Koh Lanta for an approximate price of 600 Baht. If you want, we can help you manage the reservation with the doctor, and it will not take you more than 10 minutes to have your certificate.
